Its been so long since i last blogged :)!! Im currently in the middle of my exams and really should get back to studying but my silly head insist on doing something i don't usually do before i start on my studying. Yesterday was my Combine Science Chemistry paper. Tough is the right word to use. They tested quite a number of topics that i never in my whole studying life ever thought of studying for. For example: Why is it copper can be used to extract iron from iron(II)Oxide but is not able to extract Calcium from Calcium(something). The answer is that Calcium is very reactive thus only electrolosis(erm is it spelt this way?) can extract it. Blah Blah, theres somemore i think. I studied the reactivity series but did not come across this fact in the text book!! However T knew the answer thus i hang my head and admit that apparently i have not skimmed throught the whole book enough. Sobs!! Also, there was another question that worries me to no end. The question rephrased to a certain extend because i don't possess photographic memory: There is a element that has a isotope. It has 4 electrons. This element has a neucleon number of 9. In the nucleus of this element are two particles. State the name of these two particles and the number of each particle. What do you expect this question to be worth? 1mark? 2marks? 3marks? Lo and Behold! . . . . . . . . . . . 4MARKS!! 4marks for this kinda question?!?!?! All i had to do was answer: The two particles are Proton and Neutron. There are 4 proton and 5 neutron. Walalalala!! 4 marks for me handed in a plate . Yikes! Pro. hahaz Hey i should not be complaining! Okay. On to today. Today was Geography. The agriculture question was alright. Some even comented that it was Easy Peasy but im not gonna comment on that :P The environment question was a killer! Iron, Water, Hydropower electricity Blah~ State with examples from the question and from what you have learnt the difference between renewable resources and Non-renewable resources. What kinda sick teacher gave this question! 8 marks gone down the drain man! Im not going to eleborate further on that mixed paper. Which leaves me with nothing to blog at all :D |
